Dehradun is a capital city in the north Indian hill state of Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand is formed on 9 November 2000 after separating from another big state called Uttar Pradesh.

Dehradun previously known for a retirement city as most of the retired army persons or government employee loved to live here as this city is very peaceful and comfortable in term of temperature and free from insects like mosquitos or scorching heat and cold.
