Many resorts are also offering packages for booking for the new year. Only 50 percent of booking has been done for Christmas. Whereas last time the booking was full even at Christmas. With the hotels and resorts being completely full, it also affects the local shopkeepers. The supply of all kinds of food items also increases from local shops in hotels.

Different arrangements have been made in the hotels for the entertainment of the tourists. Apart from organizing Kumaoni and Garhwali cultural programs in the hotels, Bollywood Night, Awadhi Night, Magic Show, Couple Competition, Guitar, and Flute Singing have been kept. Kumaoni cuisine will also be served in a variety of cuisines.
Hariman Singh, president of Ramnagar Hotel and Resort Association, says that this time the booking is half in Christmas. The threat of recession and Kovid can also be a reason for this. But all the hotel resorts have been booked for Thirty First. All hotels are following the guidelines of Kovid.
